The German Connection is published quarterly as a membership benefit by the German Research Association, Inc. Currently, annual individual membership is $18.00 ($24.00 foreign, payable in U. S. dollars) and $5.00 for each additional person at the same address. Membership includes one copy of The German Connection per address.

All issues have the GRA acquisitions list and extracts from U.S. periodicals; many have information on libraries, archives and societies, book news, book reviews, family surname publications reviews, queries and letters. Starting with the July 1992 issue, translations of titles of articles in genealogical periodicals from Germany which GRA acquires through purchase or exchange is included.

Many of the back issues of The German Connection from 1994 to 2007 are available for sale. Please refer to the order form for pricing. Although some issues are no longer available in hardcopy form, the GRA Board is contemplating making these popular issues available for sale in electronic format.
